Wood Group to Provide Gas Turbine APM parts to Tongi 90 MW plant |
- JANUARY 2009: Wood Group Gas turbine services and a local Landmark Bangladesh partner, has been awarded a contract valued at more than $619,000 by Bangladesh Power Development Board to provide Hot Gas components of GE Frame 9E engine.
As part of the agreement, WG Swiss will manufacture and supply the parts.
"Over the years WG have developed an excellent working relationship with BPDB as a supplier of new APM parts for GE machine."
"WG commitment to manufacturing of APM parts used in various productions field applications and providing first-class service was instrumental in receiving this contract by in Tongi Power Stations."
-Bangladesh Power Development Board has issued R&I certificate to Landmark on delivery of GE FR 9 Gas Turbine components from Wood Group, Swiss. Wood Group APM parts & service about US$ 5 million are now in use by various power plants of BPDB.

- MAY 2009: Uhde HPT, award with the repeat order of Euro 89,062.51 for High Pressure Valves in Fertilizer Plant.
-Ministry of Industry has entrusted Landmark to conduct Techo-Feasibility study by Uhde Service , Germany for Sustaining the installed designed capacity of Zia Fertilizer. In this plant, Uhde HPT delivered High Pressure components over US$ 4 million till today. |
